Each ride gets a short code that riders can join from their phone.
Built by a rider for real group rides
Simple ride alerts for bike, trike, family, and group rides.
A ride leader creates a ride, riders join with a short code, and everyone can hear important spoken alerts like Car Back, Slowing, Stopping, and Need Assistance.

10:29 Slowing

4 How It Works
5 Why It Stands Out
Built from practical group ride needs, not generic chat.
Large controls and short spoken messages keep riders focused.
Location is only shared when Need Assistance is pressed.
Leaders create a ride, share a code, and collect feedback.
Solo Ride will let a rider notify trusted contacts by text if they are lost or need assistance. Family Ride will make it easier for family outings to stay connected and get help quickly when needed.
Group Ride Alert does not continuously track riders. Location is only shared when Need Assistance is pressed and the device provides a location.
Group Ride Alert is a communication aid, not a safety guarantee. Riders should still ride safely, communicate directly when needed, obey laws and trail rules, and use official emergency services for emergencies.

Use the flyer to explain the idea quickly.
The brochure-style version is great for showing ride leaders what the app does at a glance. The website keeps the same message but makes it easier to read on phones.
Now in beta
Looking for ride groups and testers.
Request access to the Google Play beta. I will add your Google email to the tester group so you can install and try Group Ride Alert.
- Free during beta testing.
- Android beta testers install through Google Play.
- Ride leaders can still request leader access after testing.
Group Ride Alert helps riders communicate important safety messages. It is not a replacement for emergency services, weather radio, or official emergency alerts.
Ride leader access
Need to create rides?
A Ride Leader Code lets an approved ride leader create new rides in Group Ride Alert. After a leader creates a ride, the app generates a separate Ride Code that riders use to join that specific ride.
Your Ride Leader Code is private to you. Do not share it with riders. Riders only need the Ride Code for the ride they are joining.
- Ride Leader Code = lets a leader create rides.
- Ride Code = lets riders join one ride.
- Works from iPhone, Android, tablet, or the web app.
- Leader codes are emailed right away when email delivery is available.
